Personal Profile

Introduction

Maolin Chen received his B.S. degree in Remote Sensing Science and Technology, M.S. degree in Surveying and Mapping Engineering, and Ph.D. degree in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing from Wuhan University in 2012, 2014 and 2018, respectively. He is now associate professor and master supervisor in School of Smart City, Chongqing Jiaotong University. He is the deputy director of the Institute of Advanced Mapping of Mountain Bridges and Tunnels, Chongqing Jiaotong University, and has been selected as one of the "Young Top Talent Support Program" ("Hundred People Plan") of Chongqing Jiaotong University. He has published more than 20 SCI/EI papers, and presided over or participated in five projects, including National Natural Science Foundation of China, Chongqing Natural Science Foundation of China, and Science and Technology Research Project, etc. He is a reviewer of many journals, including IEEE TGRS, IEEE JSTARS, Remote Sensing, Sensors, Drones, Measurement, Applied Science, Journal of Advanced Transportation, etc. He research interest is 3D laser scanning data processing.
