Research Group
Dr. Sun is a member of Academician Lai Yuanming's Research Group. Our research group focuses on applied fundamental research. Targeting the demands of climate change, extreme environments, and major national engineering projects, we are dedicated to addressing key scientific and technological issues such as enhancing infrastructure resilience in extreme environments and assessing the impact of polar climate evolution on engineering structures. Our efforts aim to establish a theoretical framework for frozen soil physics and mechanics, and to develop adaptive construction and monitoring methods for engineering practice.
